Dental Plans
Original Medicare does not provide any coverage for dental services. You may consider purchasing dental insurance or a dental discount plan.
Ameritas
Ameritas offers four insurance plans for your dental needs:
Advantage Plus Network 1000 and 2000. If your current dentist is in the Ameritas Dental Network or you are willing to choose a network dentist, you are offered a lowered premium for coverage which would max-out at either $1,000 for the calendar year or $2,000. You may easily check the provider network by accessing online information.
Advantage Plus 1000 and 2000. If your dentist doesn’t participate with the Ameritas Dental Network, the Advantage Plus would work well. Of course, you may choose a plan with either a $1,000 maximum benefit or $2,000 maximum benefit.
